GAME DAY GRIND: February 21, 2025 – Revved up & Caffeinated: This Week's Biggest Sports Stories.
2nd Edition

👋 Good Morning Sports Fans.
It's that time of the week! It's time to take a breather, grind those beans and fire up the coffeemaker (or just pop the kettle on). In this week's edition we'll be talking F1 75 Live, the top headlines of the week, Game-Day Guess Who and more.
Take that first sip and let's dive straight in 👇
Start your Engine with Reviva Coffee and F1 75 Live ☕🏎️
This week’s coffee of choice is a Flat White brewed with Reviva Coffee beans, the 2025 official coffee partner of Williams Racing. Aussies and Kiwis love to argue over who invented the Flat White! Will we see a similar battle in the upcoming F1 2025 season between McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Red Bull’s Liam Lawson?
🍵 How to make a Flat White like a Pro.
Using Reviva Coffee’s 100% Arabica beans brew a double shot of espresso (about 30-50ml).
Steam your milk to a silky micro foam by heating the milk to around 55-65°C (130-150°F).
Pour with precision - Swirl the milk jug to break up large bubbles and create a glossy texture, then slowly pour the milk into the espresso, starting high and then bringing the jug lower to create a velvety texture.
Finally take a sip whilst taking a look at the new liveries—which is your favorite design? We rate ours below.

🏎️ F1 Live‘ries’ 75 – The Ultimate Livery Roast ☕🔥
On Tuesday night it was lights out on Formula 1's first ever live event celebrating 75 years of F1. The event was held in London's O2 Arena and the night did not fail to impress.
Jack Whitehall hosted the event. His charisma and cheeky humor had the audience in stiches as he referenced George Russell and Max Verstappen's beef as well as Lewis Hamilton's fashion choices.
The aim of the evening was to allow the ten teams to showcase the cars and their livery designs for the 2025 season.
We won't sugarcoat it—while the event was a visual feast, you’d need a microscope and a magnifying glass to spot any real differences between the 2025 liveries and last season’s.
So bear with us as we do our best to critique and rate the 10 teams’ presentations and liveries.
Kick Sauber:

The Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber were the first team to unveil their new livery. It will be no surprise to even the most causal of F1 fan that the 2025 car's design is predominantly green, even more green than last year!
Rating: 🏁🏁🏁 (3/5)
Williams Racing

Williams Racing were next up. Their 2025 livery adorning the new FW47. Almost no change from last season except for their new sponsor, Atlassian. The very minor changes in livery is understandable when you think back to last season and the fact that they could only field one car during the first race of the season.

Visa Cash App Racing Bulls

The mouthful that is Visa Cash App Racing Bulls followed Williams in the pecking order. Fortunately for the commentators and pundits they will be known as VCARB. Try saying Visa Cash App Racing Bulls five times in a row! Whilst the name may not roll off the tongue, the design is our favorite of the night. This year VCARB have gone for an ice white theme which looks stunning.

Haas

The Haas team revealed their car to the world to the soundtrack of Lenny Kravitz's “Are you Gonna Go My Way”. The livery design has changed very slightly with less black than the previous season; however, we've had to dock at least one point for lack of originality as it looks very similar to their 2022 car.
Rating: 🏁🏁 (2/5)
Alpine

The less said about Alpine's entrance to the stage the better! The car on the other hand definitely sported one of the more visually entertaining liveries of the evening. This one makes our top 3 with a flashy pink and blue two tone number 🩷💙
Rating: 🏁🏁🏁🏁 (4/5)
Aston Martin

Who do you associate with the iconic car makers Aston Martin? That's right - James Bond! The car and the drivers entered the stage to a 007 themed parody and a nod to the O2 arena. The green of Aston Martin Racing has been iconic ever since they re-joined the paddock in 2021, but we’re sorry to say we could not tell the difference from last year's design.
Rating: 🏁🏁 (2/5)
Mercedes

George Russell will be stepping up this year as number one driver after Hamilton's departure. Can he bring the fight to McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull? We would love to see a Lando, Lewis and George podium in 2025. Nothing to write home on regarding artwork as very little has changed from 2024.
Rating: 🏁🏁🏁 (3/5)
Red Bull

The car was unveiled to O2 by a group of high energy performers alongside a slightly bemused looking Max Verstappen. Christian Horner, F1's pantomime villain also took to the stage to a chorus of boos and jeers from the crowd. Again, not much change from last year.
Rating: 🏁🏁🏁 (3/5)
Ferrari

Easily the team with the best looking driver line up! Lewis really does look good in the red of Ferrari. It will be fascinating to see how the team dynamics play out between Charles LeClerc and Lewis Hamilton. The quiet recognition of Enzo Ferrari's birthday was also a nice touch. A bit more white on the car at least shows some effort from the team. This in conjunction with the Ferrari red means that the Scuderia SF 25 has crept into our top 3.
Rating: 🏁🏁🏁🏁 (4/5)
McLaren

Last but by no means least the 2024 Constructors' Champions entered the arena. The iconic papaya colored car was introduced by the sexiest man in Formula 1, Martin Brundle. McLaren openly admitted that the design had only undergone very minor changes in homage to the 2024 Championship car.
